Let’s give a big warm welcome to our new planning intern Hope Wright! She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2018 with a BA in anthropology and BS in environmental science. Soon after graduation, she took an interpretation internship at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, the home of President Theodore Roosevelt, where she researched the United States of the early 20th century and had the privilege of leading tours of Roosevelt’s home for visitors every day. Last month she finished a master’s program in environmental sustainability at the University of Edinburgh, and now she is very excited to help protect open lands and be part of a dedicated nonprofit team.
Hope says, “I am interested in protecting and improving open spaces for communities, while learning practical, hands-on skills. The Land Conservancy of New Jersey is giving me the opportunity to explore these interests and help this beautiful state!”
