2016 Honoree in the Public Private Partnership Awards for our Floodplain Protection and Blueway Design in Bergen County. 2015  New Jersey Section of the American Water Resources Association (NJAWRA) Excellence in Water Resources Protection and Planning Award for the “South Branch Preserve Ecological Restoration Project”.

2015  New Jersey Planning Officials’ Achievement in Planning Award.

2013  Garden State Green Award for an environmental non-profit organization whose activities and leadership have positively impacted environmental and/or green issues in New Jersey. 

2013  Smart Growth Award from New Jersey Future for our work developing the Pompton Riverwalk project in Pequannock.

2012  Sustainable Raritan Award in the Public Access Category on behalf of the “South Branch Preserve Partnership” in tripling the size of the South Branch Preserve in 2011

2012  U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Quality Award for the South Branch Preserve Project in Mount Olive Township

2009  The Conservancy was awarded Accreditation by the National Land Trust Accreditation Commission, signifying we meet the highest quality standards for protecting open space, upholding the public trust, and ensuring that our conservation efforts are permanent.

2007  Major William A. Welch Trail Partners Award from NY-NJ Trail Conference for significant assistance to the local hiking community
